Stewartstown Family University
Stewartstown Family University is our Sunday evening discipleship ministry. The purpose is to help you build relationships with others in our church through small home groups and to study specific topics that apply to your life. Our 2nd 6-week quarter of SFU for 2009 is Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. beginning May 17 through June 21, and offers the following courses:
The Incredible Power of Kingdom Authority
Facilitators: Mark and Donna Evans
Location: 13282 Trout School Lane, Felton
This DVD study takes a look at the way Christians often choose to live, versus how they can live. God desires for us to trust Him and be used for purposes that we could never do on our own. This is a great study to learn how you can be a part of building God’s Kingdom here on earth. No children’s area available.
World Religions
Teacher: Heath Tibbetts
Location: 4962 Swamp Road, Felton
This class filled up so fast last quarter; so we are offering it once again. The study will include overviews of Mormonism, Hinduism, Islam and others. Not only will you learn what others believe, but also how to engage their beliefs with the truth of Jesus Christ. Class limit is 16.
Quiet Strength Men’s Bible Study
Teacher: Lee Peoples
Location: Church
This study is based on the book by Super Bowl winning coach, Tony Dungy, who has proven himself an example of Christian character both on and off the field. In this study Dungy encourages men to understand that your faith comes first, your family second, and your job third. This study will give men practical and scriptural guidance on how to accomplish these priorities in their lives.
