Local Ministry

Serving in our Community

Stewartstown Baptist Church serves our local community in tangible ways, seeking to build relationships as we serve. We partner with our local elementary school to feed the teachers during their parent-teacher conference nights. Church members also “adopt” teachers, sending encouraging notes throughout the school year to let them know we are praying for them.

As a church we also Feed the Hungry - giving out meals, clothes, and blankets to the homeless. Once a month we take a food pantry collection to donate to H.O.P.E., a local cancer outreach center.

God’s Girls (Women on Mission) hosts an annual tea for the ladies of a local senior living complex.

Every summer we host a free Sports Camp for all community children between the ages of 5 and 12. We also have Vacation Bible School in July where we teach children about God in a fun, welcoming environment.

These are just a few ways we get involved in the community.
