The Crime of Prayer

I came across the story of some 8th graders in Lexington, Kentucky who committed such a terrible act that the local police had to be called in. The mother of a fellow student had been killed in a car accident, and so these students decided to pray for the kid who lost his mom. These students knew that they couldn’t pray during class times, so they gathered during lunch to pray. I could not imagine being out in the middle of the ocean with no one to talk to, yelling out for help and getting no response. Simply put it would be lonely being lost. This leads me to my focus this morning, thinking about all those in our area who need to know Christ, those who are lost!
