Your Faith and UFO’s: What Will Come to Light?
David Cameron a British politican has promised that if elected Prime Minister, he would open all the secret British files that contain information about UFO’s. When Jesus Christ comes back one day what will life reveal about what you believe about Him? Paul says in 1 Corinthians 4:5, “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.”
Now I am not a believer in the little green men from way out in outer space. I know that makes all the conspiracy theory people upset. But it is interesting to me that it seems like the United States government and the British government have files that they do not want us to see. In a Fox News article entitled “Top British Politician Vows to Open Secret UFO Files” (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,484157,00.html), David Cameron vows to open the files if he is elected Prime Minister.
This got me thinking about what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 4:5, “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will bring both to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts.” No matter how much we want to hid sin, cover up our sin, excuse our sin, run from our sin, Jesus will expose what is on our hearts. There is nothing hidden from Jesus Christ.
What will Christ find out about you on that day? When you are called to the witness stand, what will Jesus reveal about you? Hopefully your faith is in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life. I hope that you have repented of your sin and by faith trust Christ for your salvation. I hope that you will be able to praise and worship Jesus at that meeting because you know Him and He knows you. If not, then no matter how hard you try to cover your secret sins they will be brought to light. Maybe today for the first time in your life you want to know what it means to be forgiven. Then ask Jesus right now to forgive you of your sin and put your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
