More than twenty-one years ago Lauree and I arrived in Stewartstown with our three kids. We knew no one, but soon Stewartstown Baptist Church became our local family. We attended here, ministered here, and developed many friendships over the years. When I believed God was calling me to full time Christian ministry and then completed seminary, SBC ordained me and later called me as associate pastor. SBC has been more than our home church; it truly has been our church home!
We are now heading for a new mission field at Cohansey Baptist Church in Bridgeton, New Jersey. We believe this is God’s plan for us, and are excited to begin this new ministry challenge. It has been such a privilege serving at SBC both as a layman and as a pastor. I’ve been blessed to minister next to many of you, and also alongside of Pastor Lee and Pastor Tim. The experiences we’ve had and the things we’ve learned have without a doubt helped to prepare us for the journey ahead. In so many ways, you are now a part of who we are. Please pray for us, and know that we will be praying for you. May God be glorified in you as you continue to follow Jesus and point others to Him!
Finally, thank you for welcoming us, loving us, and encouraging us. You will always be special to us and parting is painful, but we hope to maintain many friendships. We love you and wish all of you a life filled with the joy that is only found in following Jesus.
