A Prayer for the Nations

Have you ever felt like your prayer life was just all over the place? Was unfocused, was just bouncing around and you were really praying with no purpose? I have felt that way many times so I decided to try to organize some of my days of prayer. For instance on Monday I prayed for all of those who made decisions at our services on Sunday. But while I was listening to the radio recently, I heard the radio host talk about how shocking this is because Tiger always came off as a likeable, even-tempered, and smart guy. I don’t know what Tiger they’re talking about, because I watched him play golf. It doesn’t take a professional lip reader to see what he says on a bad shot. Or to see his glares at photographers. My first pastor saw him at the Master’s in 2002 and came away so concerned about Tiger that since he couldn’t get close to him, Bro. Ralph sent him a personal letter and a Bible to tell him about the change Jesus could make in his life.

Who was Lottie Moon?

When I was fourteen years old I made the greatest decision of my life, I decided I was going to follow Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. In my early 20’s I left the Methodist church for a variety of reasons and began to search out what church to go to. I decided on Faith Baptist Church which was a Southern Baptist Church.
